On November 15, nearly 200 healthcare professionals from across Latvia attended the conference Together for Health: Closer to You, organized by "Olpha," to learn about advancements in various fields of medicine.

The conference featured renowned experts from Latvia and beyond, including Egils Vjaters, Head of the Urology Center at Pauls Stradiņš Clinical University Hospital, who presented on the treatment of uncomplicated urinary tract infections. Inga Urtāne, Head of the Department of Pharmacy at Rīga Stradiņš University, spoke about pharmacotherapeutic prescriptions for sore throats. Jānis Mednieks, Head of the Neurology Department at AS "Veselības centru apvienība" (Health Centers Association), shared insights into the spectrum of post-Covid-19 phenomena currently being recognized and treated.

Elmārs Tērauds, Vice President of the Latvian Psychiatric Association and Head of the Psychiatry and Narcology Outpatient Center "Pārdaugava," discussed the link between stress, anxiety, adaptability, and mental disorders. Meanwhile, Ramona Valante, a neurologist at the PSKUS Rare Neurological Diseases Center, provided an overview of the plans of the Cognitive Health Academy for 2025.

Additionally, Guna Dansone, Head of Biomedical Research at "Olpha," presented updates on the development and research of "Olpha" products.

Nearly 200 physicians and pharmacists attended the conference in person, while healthcare professionals and pharmacists could also follow the event remotely via a live broadcast on the Open.Olpha.eu learning platform. After the conference, lecture recordings remain available on the platform for specialists.
